Each Library Board is unique to their communities. They can differ depending on how trustees are recruited to the board, the board’s funding relationship with local, regional and provincial governance, and have differing strategic priorities depending on local demographics, economies and community needs. No matter where the Library Board is located, they all have the same general roles and responsibilities.
